Tomorrow is the world premier of my play Lemons, the first full production of any of my longer plays. The good people at FABUM, Inc. (For A Better Understanding of Mankind, in case you didn’t know) are producing the show, paying me, and flying me across the country to Washington, D.C. to see the show and maybe say a few interesting words. It is really an awesome opportunity and, hopefully, one that I get many times more. I have to be at the San Jose airport at around 5 AM and arrive in DC at 6, where I’ll be whisked to the premier. I will have to have lots of coffee. And maybe a few drinks on the plane to get my mind lubricated. And also the Mad Men season 5 opener cued up on the iPad. And my toothbrush. I guess I really don’t have time to keep writing this…………….
Hope to see you there!
It will be weird!
Love,
Barry Eitel
